Guys with the last gen M3's just supercharge their motors and laugh at 335s.
Audi does 450hp with a 4.2L engine. If Lexus really wanted to, they could make the RC F 500+hp, but they are always conservative, balancing reliability, fuel economy, costs, etc. For someone that wants to stay within Lexus though, there's nothing else in the lineup like it though.

not sure why would anyone want high tech V8 to be replaced with turbo V6... If I am picking between the two, i would get V8.
Now between NA V6 and Turbo V6, it is not brainer... or NA V8 vs turbo V8.
But i guess these days everything is about acronyms... so maybe by the time Lexus comes out with turbo V6, germans will be running quad turbo 2cly engines.
:-)

There's no replacement for displacement, problem is there is no way of tuning it.

And that Audi 4.2 will be replaced with the 4.0T very soon.

They didn't say anything about the F Sport but it will definitely be available once RC hits the dealers (Lexus' being adding F Sport to all their lineup but GX and LX). I'm in love with the F Sport grille, I'd take it over the normal one with vertical slats.

and there will be F-Sport Premium so nobody will complain about missing things anymore :-)
They are planning 1400 monthly sales for RC in USA, with 200 being RC-F.
It will probably be way higher right at the start.

i think if they can do 1600 rc a month that's a very respectable number

Most likely F-Sport Premium in Europe which gets you some features from Luxury package in F-Sport trim like heated and cooled seats in IS F-Sport for an example.

You can see it here for 3IS:

This probably means that they will get 3IS F-Sport Premium to the US as well :-)

I never said I wanted it to be. I'm just saying this will be the last NA performance F motor. More power than the IS-F to be better on par for the competition while these FI mills are being produced. Hence this new motor is a bridge engine.
I agree, but as I posted above, basically just enjoy this motor while it lasts. 2016 models are likely to start getting TTV6 and V8's.
And that Audi 4.2 will be replaced with the 4.0T very soon.
