Looks like there really will be a GS-F :

Lexus GS-F is Coming to Take on the BMW M5

Lexus is busy prepping a high-performance version of the GS sedan that will battle the BMW M5.

It seems as if Lexus has BMW in its crosshairs as of late. Along with the recently launched IS that’ll take up the fight against the BMW 3 Series, Lexus is reportedly prepping a high-performance version of its rear-wheel-drive GS sedan. Only thing is, the Japanese automaker doesn’t want us to know about it, as these new spy pictures show. The test engineers were not too pleased to see our spy photographers, so they attempted to block them from a taking any snaps.

Fortunately they got a few in and we can clearly tell that what’s in the garage is the upcoming high-performance GS-F. Want proof? Note the stacked, quad-tip exhaust outlets along with an air diffuser between those outlets. There’s also a lip spoiler on the trunk, and sporty multi-spoke wheels wrapped in high-performance rubber. The prototype doesn’t have any "GS-F" badges, but there’s very little doubt that that’s exactly what this test mule is. No word yet on when it’ll be officially unveiled, but the M5 will soon have quite a competitor.

This either a GS-F test mule with stock GS body or something else.

Great to see further confirmation of this!

We already knew the GS F was coming from a while back when we saw spy shots of the GS F mule in a Japanese magazine.

I am extremely excited to see how they will execute the GS F, and also what the next-gen LS will be like.
