Black Mirrors and Black Spoiler on Ultra White RC350 F Sport
#16
I think this car looks great. I was impressed with it so much that I too had the dealer install an obsidian black spoiler. I picked up my car Friday and the spoiler had to be ordered and then painted.
I want to get my roof wrapped, but I am not really sure which product material brand I should seek out. Naturally, I want something that looks good, but lasts a decent amount of time.
I also want to convert my back badges to be black as well. I am thinking about having the dealer order another set of badges in silver and painting them myself or ask the dealer to paint them and then install them......
I appreciate any comments on this. The owner of the RCFSport in this thread definitely made his ride look good.

Right on HoustonTX---I spent 21 years in auto sales. Black mirrors were always indicative of the entry model cars. The upscale models always had the painted mirrors. And yes, if you're going to stay with what you're doing, I agree that the base of the mirror should be black as well.
21 years eh? that's puts you back in like what... the early 90's at least.
it's 2015 now, and this is a $50K Lexus. The pic on the previous page showing "The Crafted Line" proves that the desired look has evolved with the times.
Nobody is going to confuse it with entry level. lol

I didn't have time before it got dark to do the base. Here is what it looks like now with the roof too. Black mirrors and spoiler is the new thing but I totally understand the entry level comparison. To each their own. Pictures don't really do it justice. Looks awesome in person, obsidian black on the ultra white. Thanks guys.
Thanks

rjsimmonsj, when you removed the "RC 350" emblem, did it leave holes on your trunk? as in, did the emblem have two posts on the back side? I am planning to remove the RC 350 and F sport emblems from mine, but don't want any holes, and I don't want to try and cover or paint on a brand new
Thanks

I just got my Ultra White RC F Sport and want to go the same route. My spoiler is on order, but still debating to get it colour matched to the car and then wrapped (so I can always go back to white easily) or get it painted black. First, I want to know how easy it is to wrap the roof with the antenna? My Infiniti did not have one, so it was very straightforward. Did you use the slit method, or did you have to remove some headliner? If the latter is the case, I don't think I want someone to do that. If the slit method works, than I probably will. Some info would be great! Thanks in advance :-)
