That's not bad at all. I was thinking at least $1,000.

Curious, has anyone considered whether Invidia's mid pipe part # HS13LISMIP for the 14-15 IS 250/350 would swap out with the RC ? Use the X-pipe portion of the kit and keep the cats w/sensors on forward section intact? The RC's floor pan is a carry over from the IS. And the cat back exhaust on the RC is identical to the IS. So one could assume the x-pipe would also swap in? Just a thought. The kit runs about $600

I don't believe the mid-pipe is the same, or else manufacturer's would already be selling them for our cars.

I installed the F-sport IS 250/350 rear exhaust today and noticed that the mid pipe also looks identical to that of the Invidia mid- pipe. If the rear exhaust is the same I just thought the mid pipe might be as well. And Lexus is not selling the IS kit as a RC fit either but it's a direct swap.

OP,
Do you think I can stop by sometime to hear the exhaust in person? I'm down in San Diego but make the trip up to cerritos at least once a month

Point taken. Hopefully someone has access to a 3IS mid-pipe and can do a test fit
