Default Exhaust Installed

So I spent the day at the shop having them built a full catback for me. Full 2.5 inch pipe with custom built x-pipe. The stock exhaust on the RC350 is pretty sad and puny. Coming down from the Main Catalytic converter the pipe size is 2.5inches. Then the Secondary Catalytic converter narrows to 2 inches. Then after that it narrows again to 1.75 inches to the stock x-pipe. Then it opens to 2 inches again to the stock resonators and then narrows again to 1.75 after the resonators to the two stock mufflers out the back. Here are a few pictures of measurements. Also you can see the restriction/mesh inside the second catalytic. So now its full 2.5inch pipe to x-pipe to 2.5in resonators to the new 2.5 single in dual out magnaflows. Sounds really aggressive. Sounds better than my Challenger SRT lol. Some drone when accelerating (which I expected). Loud when WOT but quiet when cruising on street and freeway. No Rasp at any RPM which I was happy about. Ill post a video when I get a chance. New exhaust out the back has slight slant with 3.5inch black chrome slanted tips. Hope this helps anyone looking to have something built or on the fence about removing some of the restrictive parts. I feel a good increase in power. Also if anyone was interested in the weight of the stock set up, each stock muffler and pipe up to the axle is 18.2lbs and the stock x-pipe w/ secondary cat is 10.4lbs. Here are some images. Check back for a video!!

Second Cat. Inlet and outlet 2.0inches here

Inside second cat.

Stock x-pipe 1.75inches and stock resonators 2.0inches.

Inside diameter is 1.75in here

End result.

Wow, impressive! Sounds like you recorded from within the cabin. Would love to hear it from the outside.

I got the chance to hear it in person. The tone itself made the RC350 more aggressive. Definitely worth that extra investment toward the exhaust mod.

Nice tone.. !
Sounds a whole lot beefier then oem.
Video sounds might not catch the true deepness of the sound...

Awesome!!
