My local dealer didn't even come close..
Can you DM me his info? Looking to pick up a GS350 F Sport

Thank you rfx45! It's greatly appreciated. I'm happy and satisfied with everything except one thing, I found out today that there are 37 dealer only programmable settings that the dealer can only make changes and some of those I want to change badly, but can't and according to Lexus, when the 5,000 mile service is due that can be done. That doesn't make any sense to me at all. It's a little upsetting knowing that. I searched around and found some info on an app called Carista and needing an obd Bluetooth scanner. That sounds a bit too complicated for me. I'm going to have to share my frustrations with my salesman and see what he can accommodate. If nothing can be done, that sucks! LOL.

Thank you Elusive! I appreciate it. YES, hahaha. Something in the back of my head said to get that protection because you never know. I know it had something to do with additional money involved, but it's for peace of mind too I guess. I tried my best to see what could be done with a hook up or more discount, but the finance manager was pretty stearn and set on $475. He said that's actually very discounted and at close cost for them. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your wear and tear insurance and what city. Just curious!!! You can DM me if you like.

Did someone say Carista?

Cool ride, congrats! I really like the styling of the RC, and it looks great in white.

Now about the settings: a small number of them can be changed through your nav screen. The rest in the dealers' list are marked as "dealer-only", but our app, Carista, can change most of them, plus some more that are not even in the official list.

It's super easy to use: just get our Bluetooth adapter, plug it in your port under the dash and start using the app. There's no physical "installation" or anything like that. Plugging in the adapter is as easy as plugging in a USB device. And then the app just connects to the adapter automatically, there's no setup necessary for that.

I hope I'm not raining on your thread here... just trying to offer some info. If you're interested, here's a short clip explaining how to use the app (ignore the part about connecting via WiFi - that's not necessary if you use our Carista adapter):

And enjoy your car! Sounds like a sweet deal you got there

Hello Carista!

Thank you for providing the wonderful information on your product. It's actually funny. My Lexus salesman called me today and asked how everything is going and the car itself. I said wonderful other than the 37 dealer settings I can't change. He was quiet for a few seconds. I told him after texting the product specialist at Lexus, I asked if a few features existed. He said yes and no. I'll email you a pdf of the ones you can and cannot, the ones that say dealer only can only be done after your 5k mile service. I was like what! After explaining this to my salesman, he said make a list out of 37 you want done. I want you to be happy and satisfied. So for now as it looks, he'll be taking care of these settings. If nothing comes out of it, then I'll definitely consider the adapter you mentioned.
