I went the no-drilling route as well. You will either need to cut off or grind down the 2 bolts. The double sided tape is already included on the underside of the spoiler. As far as the tabs on the tape, I believe the right way to do it is to position and "install" the spoiler on the trunk and then pull those tabs out until the spoiler is permanently taped down all around. I guess you can say I did it the "wrong" way by taking all of the tabs off first and just placing the spoiler on the trunk in one shot. Having 2 people for the install will make a huge difference and make it a lot easier. GL
What I would add to FR500GT response is that after the bolts has been cut off place the spoiler on the trunk and when you are satisfied where it is sitting mark the corners with Blue painters tape. This will help in the alignment when you pull the tape off. Just my .02 cents.

Yep where the spoiler sits on the trunk to make sure you are not putting it on crooked. Put the tape in a "L" pattern, One piece at the left and right most edge, and then two more pieces that will overlap the first ones so these are towards the back of the spoiler making an "L" shape. This makes sure it will go on correctly. I used this practice when putting hood scoops, body panels, trunks and hoods, and it is easier to remove painters tape then get off 3M body tape.
I'll take a pic tonight when I get home of what I mean showing where to put the tape if that helps.

FUZCO here are the pics of what I was talking about. Doing this will help get the spoiler on straight. When you cut off the bolts make sure that nothing is sticking out as it would scratch the rear deck lid. Also it would be a good idea to put some paint on the cut off edge so it will not rust.
Make sure that the space at each edge is the same distance from the edge of the deck lid so it will be centered.

This will be a very helpful DIY. I think I will forgo the spoiler though because the car looks amazing either way. Wouldn't be a deal breaker, nor would I have the itch (at least not at the moment) to have it installed. No I just need to decide on white or grey

so i used this thread for reference on a recent spoiler install. i didn't drill either but just used the adhesive it came with. pictures below for reference. thanks for the guide!
