Me too and I have the same feeling about the NAVI as you.

Yesterday mine drove my wife nuts because the option to call the dealer through the system was grayed out while I was driving. I can't wait to get my BeatSonic. payment sent.

If you guys install yourself, can you do DIY? Beat-Sonic said they will have video install for the RC sometime next month, but that is too long to wait. 😀

I'm not ballsy enough to take apart the interior of my $45k+ car. I used to be, but I chafed them off at the Chicago Marathon a couple of days ago. So now in going to pay a shop to do it while I wait for them to grow back.

fyi there is already a DIY for the IS350 with tons of pictures on the forum. I can't find it right now but I know is there.

Its almost identical to the IS 350 install. I transfered my beatsonic unit that I had on my IS350 F Sport to my RC350 F Sport in under 20 minutes.

Thanks for the info. Was it as easy to take off the bezel in the RC350 as it was shown in the video for the GS?

Completely different but still easy. Tried to upload some IS350 instructions which are almost identical for the RC

OK I just finished the install on my IS350 with factory nav, and it really was not that hard or time consuming. Start to finish took 1/2 hour and test driving the car with a fully functioning nav took another 1/2 hour as I stopped for late night ice cream.

I followed the instructions included in the beatsonic box. They mailed me a nice set of instructions with pictures and if you have a trim removal tool set ($5 off amazon) and a nice thick towel you should not damage the interior at all.

The install for the RC350 is a lot more involved, and I'll be making an install video this weekend to help any one else with a RC350 put this in their car.

No problem. Just started shooting the video, and doing the install. Hope to have the video up this weekend after editing out all the bad words, LOL, if there are any.
