Just finished editing the video. Now all I need to do is compile it and upload this monster to YouTube and post it here for you all. Just a bit longer so hang in there everyone.

OK the video is up and embedded, but I also started a new thread that has a bunch more information about the install here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rc-...ml#post9227470

Beat-Sonic NAV-DVD DIY Install Video for 2015 Lexus RC350 - YouTube
Too funny, I installed mine today and did a video as well but I think your video is better than mine. I'd like to find someone local to install this on so they can video tape it without stopping, without shaking and without interruptions. Would have taken me 30-40 mins max to install if it weren't for the stop/go/shaking/focus issues, lol.

Nice work shipmate, I'll be posting mine up as well on the RCF page and maybe I'll post mine for redundancy purposes here as well.

Thanks Master Chief. I felt the same way about stopping, starting, and doing this one handed. The entire process would only take about 45 minutes to install. This was probably one of the easiest installs compared to installing a GM MyLink NAV touchscreen system in my 2011 Camaro.

You are very welcome. Did you buy the Beat-Sonic Bypass Module also?

You didn't need to start the car in order to put the gear in neutral. There's a small slot near shifter where you can insert flat head screw driver and then you can release the shift to neutral.

My IS350 I was able to enter address while in drive mode as long as car is not in motion even without override box. Not sure if this was like this in RC since you were testing in drive mode but not moving.

Yep. I really want to find someone local to install it for to make a CLEAN video. Here is my mess of a video for some comic relief:

Yes and I got mine installed yesterday. Took about 30 min to do everything. I wish the unit would play blu ray disc.

That I didn't know and would have been nice to know before hand. On the RC350 once the car is out of park you can't enter in an address, but then maybe I tried to enter in address when the car was moving. Doesn't matter know though.

I believe RC should be the same, it will lock out of entering address only while moving maybe above 5mph.
Your video is really good reference for people doing this first time, when I did mine by just following paper instruction it took me 2 hours.

Thanks Dojoman. Our RC350 has the newest generation stereo and when I tested my ability to play a DVD I tested it using a Blue Ray and it worked.

I tried a couple blu ray movies and the system will not play it. How are you able to get it to play blu ray discs?

My bad. I thought the movie I tried was Blu Ray, but it was just a standard DVD. When I tired to play a Blu ray DVD it said "Check Disc".

Have any of you tried the Vaistech ULM system? I have used this for my IS-F and it worked great and had additional aux/usb inputs.
