F-Sport Performance Exhaust - Required?

F-Sport Performance Exhaust - Required?
I already realize that there is limited knowledge at the actual dealerships. A majority of them simply tell you what they believe and that's just the case everywhere....not just Lexus and not just cars. Fortunately, there is the internet and message boards so you can get the REAL scoop from people that really know the answers.
When I build my RC on Lexus.com, and select the Luxury Package, I am UNABLE to remove the F-Sport Performance Exhaust ($1,875). I don't mean that it shows "Unavailable" (that would actually make sense). It shows "Required" and proceeds to add in the $1,875 in the summary with all of the other selections.
1) I didn't think I could actually get the F-Sport Performance Exhaust unless I was buying a F-Sport, which I'm not.
2) Is this just a website fluke?
I already noticed one error in the brochure. The width of the car was reported to be over 80+ inches....crazy wide....about a foot wider than my husband's boat (by boat, I mean his Mark VIII Lincoln). But I have found other reports that show that was wrong...misprint perhaps.
I was already mislead by one dealer swearing to me that you cannot get memory seats, power telescopic steering wheel and/or rain sensing wipers in the Sport model--found out he was flat out wrong (the only thing you can't get is the rain sensing wipers), but he was so sure of himself and I found out on this board that he had given me inaccurate information.
Anyway, counting down....pick up in 4 days so I am super excited. Nervous....but excited.
Thanks!

It will come soon enough, but I know the suspense is brutal. You have a very nice optioned out car.
When I bought mine what I got as options were predetermined from Lexus as the RC's were just being shipped to dealers in Mid-November, and I didn't want to wait 3 months for a special order. When I special ordered my 2011 Camaro it was such a long wait, and I told myself that if my next car has over 90% of what I want I'll get it, and I did. The only thing I didn't get was Perforated leather interior trim, Rain-sensing intermittent windshield wipers, and Pre-collision System w/Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. Other than those three options our cars are pretty close in options.
Get used to people telling you nice car.

I wish mine had been "required" to include the F-Sport Performance Exhaust with the F Sport Package!
I think the web sight results will vary by location.
This is what I see with luxury package selected:
