Default Need opinions on quad exhaust tips

Doing a custom bolt on muffler delete and quads. One side of the tips protrude out more than the other. Browsing m3post for years, I always assumed longer tip was inside. Now my friend has embedded the idea in my head that it looks weird and longer should be on the outside. Is he crazy ? Tips are 4" each.

Outer

Innner

I would agree with your first belief, longer side on the inside: Inner
It simply follows the tapered sculpture of the bumper line and mimics the "OEM Tip's" curve in a complimentary way. Observing that opinions vary greatly, whatever pleases your eye is key.

I'm going to assume this statement is sarcasm.

It's common sense that the exhaust flows WITH the bumper and rear diffuser. Longer inside and shorter outside. Yes you "can" mount it the opposite way. Is going to stick out and look stupid? You bet.
