Has anyone thought about taking off the "Pep-Boy's" rear fins? I just did a quick photoshop mockup without them on. Are there any holes or openings under the fins.
It could be done at a body shop. It might look nice. The rear bumper is embossed with the bear claw shape matching the shape of the Black Faux Exit Duct. And each fin on the black piece has a snap-in clip on the bottom.
Looks much better without the FINS, I'd remove those in a heartbeat. It's one of the reasons I didn't like the RC350. Engine performance was the #1 reason though I didn't get the RC350.
There is just no accounting for taste. The fins are one of the reasons I got this car, and surely Lexus did not include a bold fashion statement because they thought nobody would like it. Removal is always an option, but the space left argues for a replacement, not a void.

I agree that the fins did it for me too. It reminded me of the old Ferrari Testarossa doors.
