Did anyone out there test the AMG A45 before pulling the trigger and getting the RC? Over here (Oz) both these cars compete at a similar price point and are close in terms of features (eg blind spot monitoring, lane departure, active cruise, sunroof, sport modes, front/rear sensors, camera, etc).
I believe they are the same vehicle, here is a larger picture of the US version.
Again it begs the question how can you compare the two vehicles one is a coupe and the other is a cross over that has had AMG put its engine and other goodies on it?

Mate you are wrong. As I said before, the A class and GLA share the same underpinnings and engine choices. Have a read of some Australian or European motoring articles or check out YouTube. The A class is shorter, lower, narrower and lighter. The A class is a 5 door hatch, the GLA is a 5 door SUV. The A45 is a performance hatch like the Golf GTI or R, Audi S3 and BMW M135. So yes if you want a sporty car you can look at the sedan derived RC (which is a concoction of IS, ISC and GS) or a sport hatch...I hope you can now appreciate the difference.
My friend just got the C450 AMG or AMG sport whatever it is. Its the biturbo v6 and so far he loves it but it only has been 3 days.
Personally Ive never liked the new C class as far as styling and that Ipad looking thing in the center and red seat belts arent my cup of tea, but Im sure the performance makes up for the ugliness.
Just ran outside to snap some pictures for you guys.
