Anyone considering the 2017 Infiniti Q60s?

ive always liked infiniti. you get a lot of car for the price. if you never sat in a g37 coupe, it really feels like quality. 2008 was the first year where infiniti was stepping up with their cars. dual intake strong engine, RWD, good sounding bose system, quality feel to interior, sporty. just needs to be faster. q60s looks promising.

i had the g35 coupe and absolutely loved it, it was a bit heavy on the road noise but the exhaust note was awesome, I always got complemented on it. I later got a g37xs the awd sports model and it was def more refined, quieter while handling much better. The interior and the controls were simple and easy to use and it felt sporty enough when you were going through corners and flooring it.
Now that I have my rc350 I can tell lexus is much smoother and I am kind of bummed the engine is the same one they have been using for so long but I am not all that impressed with the q60. It doesn't have the presence that the concept had and I think it looks a bit lame. What I do want to see from that car is the cornering and the exhaust note, I hope they went back to basics a bit with this car. My other gripe with them is the new steering they got from the q50, I have driven a few as loaners and I can see why so many ppl complained about it, I think they said they were adapting that from the q50 so that might be a mistake. The dual screen interior is ok but I heard it had lots of problems and it seemed very gimmicky when I used it, I preferred the older layout before the 2 screens or that what is in the qx80. I def will test drive this car but the look of the Rc F sport is leaps and bounds above the q60 even prob with their sports package but that 400hp engine is something to be admired. I hope this pushes lexus to up the output for the rc vehicles across all engines.

I formerly had a late model G37 Coupe. I know the new "Q" version is updated, but I personally found the exhaust note intrusive, and tiring after a while, after the novelty of it wears off. To each his own, though....

Thats a ugly car if you ask me. Looks like an Accord Coupe. Infiniti and Nissan has always been trying to steal a few buyers from BMW, Lexus, MB by offering fast cars for relatively cheap prices. But they are uncomfortable and just do not posses the prestige factor IMO.

I'd take the 306 HP RC350 over this any day.

Props to Infiniti for offering a turbo V6 to compete with the Germans. However, considering Infiniti's reliability record is so-so... why not just get one of the German competitors (mainly the 440i)? Slightly cheaper price yes, but slightly cheaper interior and refinement too.

I went to infiniti yesterday and they said there will be two versions of this....a 4 cylinder turbo and a 6 cylinder turbo. Didn't realize either was a twin turbo or in the 400HP range. Also saw pictures and it doesn't look like an accord coupe...more like the Q50 in many ways. The new exhaust looks amazing on it tho but I'd have to agree with everyone else that the new lexus line up simply looks better than any other car out there for now... I hope there are some after market FI solutions for the IS/ RC in the near future.
Still cant wait to see the new Q60 perform tho!
