I have 20x9 with 255 front tires. These rub but think they would not if I had 19" wheels. The width should not change your aspect ratio. You should be able to go to 240 without a problem.

I bought a set of RCF rims... they are 19x9 and 19x10 (not sure of the offsets). I have 255/35/19's on the front and 285/35/19 on the rears. No rubbing issues at all in front or back. I'm actually gonna got to 265/35/19 on the fronts next. If they rub?? they will only rub on the extreme wheel turning when parking or something like that...so you won't be going fast or anything.

How bad is your rubbing? Just in parking lots and very slow tight turns? I have heard that some of the 20's will rub depending on width. I'm gonna try to go with a 265/35/19 for my next fronts....I would like to try and try and test fit them before I buy.

I'm running 245/35R20 on 9J ET 35. Very minor scuff on fender liner in tight turns. Slight liner rubbing during heavy dips at the top but not show-stopping. It's bearable.

Default Summer wheels/tires

Square set up, Niche Vosso 19x9.5 38mm. Yokohama ADVAN APEX 245/40R19. The extra offset and wider tires seems to have reduced the amount of tramlining

On my car I am running 19x8.5 +35 (245/40R19) and 19x10 +40 (285/35R19). The front is as wide as it can go without hitting our stupid fender liner (on the outer side of the fender). The rear with 285's is as far as it can go without rubbing or hitting on bumps. So basically I made it so I could run an aggressive setup while keeping the car functional for daily driving duty.

Another popular setup is 20x9 +32 (245/35R20) and 20x10.5 +45 (275/30R20).

With that being said, these are RC's running lowering springs and all of them are daily drivers. You can always go coil-overs which might give you a little more room but more than likely if you want to run those wheels you're going to need to run tire sizes similar to the stock 235/265's. Hope this helps.
Hey there, just about to pull the trigger on some upgrades and a total newb to this. after reading through basically this entire thread it looks like i'm going to get 19x8.5 +35 & 245/35/r19 (front), 19x9.5 +40 & 275/35/r19 (rear). It's my daily so i'm not sure about lowering springs, thought id check the fitment before buying. I was wondering if you happened to know if these specs would do well and if not, any recommendations? Thanks.

Default Awd

Looking to get concave wheels for my AWD. I cannot figure out what’s a good setup for 19inch wheels that won’t mess up the awd system. Could someone please tell me specs that they have tried +/- share photos.

I really can’t figure it out :/

thanks!

What type of exhaust is that?

@Fithamoto it's the Lexus F-Sport exhaust. Has a Lexus part number and can only be purchased new via the dealership and has F-Sport engravings on both sides of both tips. I made a post about it here.

Do you have a sound clip so I can hear it? Please post up if possible or send to me thru DM.

Some IS owners have already posted their videos, but here's mine. Nothing extreme on the revs but a different sound nonetheless.
