RC 200t Problem!? :(
so i was driving on the freeway for a little while i pulled off an exit to fill up. I got off the exit , waited 3 minutes to turn off my car, then proceeded to fill up. When i filled up and started to drive off the gas station, My car starting acting really weird and like holding the gears, while in eco mode (normally does that in sport mode) so i was freaking out. turned off the car and did it again. started driving really weird, like the engine was working harder than normal. not sure if anyone else has encountered problems like this before? I drove for a little while like 10 extra minutes but it seems the engine was still a little weird. Im waiting for it to get cold again , warm up, and slowly drive to see how it responds again. also do you guys think it was because i didn't drive an extra mile or something to cool down the turbo before i filled it up at the gas station? cause i just got off the highway, waited 3 min , then filled , cause the station was right off the highway. I was using shell premium gas.

Hmm, not sure what the problem is that you're describing. I don't have the issue in my RC200t. The gear is holding for too long?

This is a suggestion from left field - you didn't accidentally put the gear level into manual mode, did you? In manual mode it will still eventually shift gears automatically to avoid causing damage, but could match the symptoms you describe.
Also, I wouldn't worry too much about leaving the engine running to cool down the turbo. This was a good idea back in the day of boosted turbos in a Supra, but isn't really required with the tiny turbo on the tiny engine in the RC200t.

yeah I've done this in my RCF, grabbed my coffee from the cub holder and whacked the gear shift into manual and didn't know it. took me a beat to realize it, thinking WTF why isn't the car shifting gears.

I have the same problem!
I'm having the same issue where it feels like the transmission is slipping or something. I'm going to take it to service on Monday & hope it's not a major repair or issue.

I spoke with the service manager & he said that the lag in power is normal. He says that the computer is getting used to my driving habits and he's had numerous people asking about this. So I guess we are good to go I'm now try to find out if it's possible to install the retractable rear spoiler on my 200t F Sport....

Wow thats a lot...is there wiring or something needed for the motor to work with how fast the car is moving or somthing? Does it come with manual controls to do it too...seems pricey but I don't even understand how it works.
