Hi,

i have afe takeda installed in my 2017 rc 350 fsport. i feel like i hear less sound on the engine even if i have full vol on my ASC. is this about right? i feel like there is more hum sound on the stock then with intake... thnaks

Well considering you removed the stock intake that has a built in sound generator (the thing attached to the intake tube) and replaced it with a straight heat soaking piece of aluminum that's what you get. LEMS (high $) is the only intake I'm aware of that reuses the factory sound generator.

ASC has nothing to do with the intake, exhaust or any other mod - its just b.s. fake speaker noise pumped in.

LEMS only carry it for rcf if im not mistaken. but ok i figured thats the case but i kinda miss that sound although i know its fake but it actually replaced original sound from intake. if im not mistaken you changed your intake too?

I went with the HPS intake specifically because it allows for the sound generator to be reattached. I think the combination of F Sport exhaust, sound generator, and the ASC make for a really nice sound. I enjoy it anyway :-)

They make this intake in either polished aluminum or black crinkle finish. It will not come with the F Sport logo.
