Default Anyone install a dash cam hardwired into the fuse box using fuse taps?

I want to install a BlackVue Dash Cam, I went to look over the car to preview the install.

When I found the fuse box under the steering wheel, my first reaction is that this is way too small to put a fuse tap, other wise I'd have to run the fuse tap and leave the box uncovered. Anyone else with a dash cam do this? I think I'll just use the OBDII port to power the black vue, I want the install to be clean and would prefer not to have the fuses exposed.

If you've done the fuse box, can you post a picture of it? Thanks.

I didn't run it through the fuse box. Tapped into the 12V ignition wire from the dome light and using a DC-DC buck converter to power the dash cam. A link to my write up Click HERE

I have, I will post the picture in 1 day. It was done by professionals. Just be aware that the plastic cover from the fuse box will not fit.

I bought the Power Magic Pro and tapped it into my fuse box. The unit sits outside the fuse box but it is not in sight.

Default Fuse Box below steering wheel

This was done by professionals, one cable for when car turns off, the camera keeps recording in PARKING MODE. The other one for when the cars turns on, the camera switches mode.
