RC350 AWD, RWD with front assist or visa versa?
I can't seem to find the answer anywhere.
Is the RC350 AWD normally RWD with the front wheels being driven when necessary or FWD like the Honda CRV with the rear wheels being driven when required?
The answer won't affect my daily driving but it's a nice-to-know kind of thing.

If an RC is not AWD, then it is RWD. This would lead me to think that the AWD drive train drives only the rear wheels (like any performance car), engaging the front wheels also only when slippage is detected. This is also what I recall from the early reviews.

Thanks for the quick reply. The RWD performance car logic is valid however I owned a FWD Acura Intrgra, which in it's time was considered a performance car.
The fact that the standard RC is RWD would make it almost absurd that the AWD version could be anything else when no slippage is detected.
I just thought it was odd that none of the reviews that I saw mentioned this fact, yet most all SUV reviews go to the trouble to explain the AWD set up.
BTW I am really enjoying our 2015 Infrared RC350. The previous owner kept it in mint condition, so much so that it looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor.

That makes more sense to me, just based on how the car feels when driving. I wonder if the 70/30 gives the RC the performance and driving characteristics of the Audi "Quatro" cars, which drives all four wheels all the time. (I never had one, and am guessing that those were 50/50.)
