Default how long are rear shocks warrantied for?

how long are rear shocks warrantied for on a 2016 RC FSport? I only have 13,xxx miles on my RC350 Fsport and already my driver's side rear shock is bottoming out? I lifted up the car to check and the whole shock/strut assembly, and it is wet and leaking and needs to be replaced. Does Lexus warranty these shocks at all or are they considered a "normal maintenance" part?

There are criteria from Lexus as to how bad a leak has to be before it is considered no good. Warranty is 4 years / 50,000 miles (80,000 km) in Canada and the USA.

Well I do not know about "how bad" it is, but when I drive over a bump it makes a loud thump sound like I'm hitting the bump stop and liquid is visibly oozing from around the shock. I'd say that is considered..."bad" LOL

One of my front shocks started leaking when my GS was a little over two years old. It was replaced under warranty. The car is now seven years old, and my mechanic tells me that the rear shocks are a bit “moist.”

I bet Warranty. Call the Service Dept and ask. Or look in your manual set. (Google them for .pdf's if you don't have them)

My Lexus dealer said that they will warranty the shock. They had to order it, so the'll be keeping my car overnight. They gave me a free rental. Lexus is awesome
