Default Can the RC300 RWD get sub 6's with bolt ons?

I'm wondering if the RC300 RWD can get below 6s in 0-60. Car and driver and others have stated a 6.8s 0-60 in a stock one. If I add bolt ons, specifically an AFE scorcher and an aftermarket exhaust and intake, can I get it into the 5's? Or will I need to add ppe headers and a full ecu tune from someone like RR racing to even get close? I really like the gas mileage of the RC300 RWD. Plus, I like the idea of modding it specifically with the turbo. I'm wondering how close can you get to the performance of the RC350.

I doubt the stock turbo will allow 5s times. You need a significant increase in power for that.

Nope. You’ll need more than bolt ons. And even then it’s a tough task.

RC300 isn’t really for high performance and power.

Unfortunately, getting great MGP's (due to smaller motor) and a highly reliable car (due to detuned motor) is the trade-off for for a faster vehicle. However, I think for what it is, it does just fine. Heck, if you want a fast 2.0 Turbo that gets fantastic MPGs, then get an AMG CLA 45. That thing get's to 60 in 4.1s. ...But to answer your question, getting the RC 2.0T /300 to run sub 6's is something we have never heard or seen.... yet.

The RC300 is a 2l turbo. RC350 is 3.5l n/a V6.

RC300 has a 3.5L V6 just like the 350. I think your thinking of the 200t with 2.0 Turbo 4 Cyl

The RC300 AWD has a detuned 3.5L V-6, the RC300 RWD is the old RC200t, just renamed.
