Default Blacked Out Front Emblem

For everyone that has blacked out their front L Lexus emblem, did y’all just plastidip it, tint it or just replace it with an aftermarket one? I’m having issues finding a black replacement emblem online. Either shows no longer available or whatever. Any help would be appreciated.

They have black pearl embelms but they are expensive. I vinyl wrapped mine. First in matte black with a gloss black F logo. Now I just have some vvivid smoked vinyl over it to darken the bright chrome.

I'm assuming you have to turn off parking assistance if you cover up the front emblem?

Parking assistance is the four small sensors in the front bumper. The adaptive cruise control radar is behind the emblem, but it seems to be a rare option in the states.
