You have to remove the whole seat. It all comes out in one piece.

I feel like you can just pop up the tray from the backside without having to remove the seat, but since I'm the one who did the video , I'll go home and try it out myself to confirm.

The hinges you see right here locked to the skinny bar on the seat. If you can somehow bend it backwards without removing the seat, then you can pop the tray out. Good luck.

thank you for checking! I believe i spoke to you on the YouTube video; that might be why i thought these could be removed without the cushion removal.
