Powerstop Z23 F+R Pad and Rotor Kit too large?
Hey friends! New to the forum here. I've had my Blue RC350 F Sport for over a year and a half now and finally it needed new pads and rotors. Purchased a Powerstop Z23 front and rear rotor + pad kit after I saw all the reviews and positive traits.
Here's where I feel I went wrong. I purchased it on Amazon and shipped it to my local Sears for instillation as I share an apartment and would have no where to install myself (I have tools and such at my parents 2hrs away). It was also one of the only places close to me that was open for a Saturday install. I got a call 4 hours after dropping it off saying that the new (front) rotors are an too small and cannot be installed. I asked if they were using the rear ones on the front and could have been a simple mistake. The rep said he was going to get the lowdown from the mechanic doing the work and call me back.
I get a call back and he says that the front rotors are an inch too big and cannot be installed.
Long story short, I had to rush back to the store before they closed and pick everything up while they put my original pads and rotor back on.
Anyone have any trouble with this kit? I'll try an take some pics of the boxes and labels too see what might have occurred. I've seen the Youtube vids and pics of other installs and I'm a bit disappointed it wasn't as easy as I had anticipated.
My plan going forward is to call Powerstop when they open on Monday and talk to a rep there. Additionally, I'll look for 3rd party mechanics who might be able to put them on/see whats wrong this upcoming week.
Any help would be appreciated!

I had a similar issue before.
Looks like they might have sent you the wrong size Rotors. I had this same exact thing happened with my shop where i take my RC. This is the note that i have from someone in this forum. Call the shop and verify it's in fact for your RC.
"All RC AWD models have the same rotors, RWD non-F Sport models use the same rotors.
Only RWD RC F-Sport models have the larger 2-piece rotors"

They probably sent you the rotors for the wrong model (RWD F-sport vs non F-sport). I purchased these at one point and had no issues with them.

Just got off the phone with Powerstop and it seems they sent me the wrong rotors as I received 1-piece rotors. RWD needs the 2 piece rotors part # JBR1574XPR and different front pads #Z23-1686. Chris was super helpful at Powerstop! Now to return that kit and hopefully get the right one.
Can anyone confirm the correct kit for RWD F Sport from Powerstop?
Thanks for the help fellas!

UPDATE: After being on the phone most of the day, I have some reporting to do.
I as able to get a full refund from Amazon and keep the rear rotors and pads from the kit, as long as I return the front rotors and pads (the ones that did not fit).
I then followed up to Powerstop to order the correct front Rotors and Pads for RWD F Sport and learned that they stopped making the 2-piece models (also for Corvette and Challenger) as some of the rivets were breaking. They currently do not offer any front rotors for us RWD F Sport guys but have been working on making a new 1- piece design as replacements for the faulty 2 piece rotors.
I spoke to Tina (ext. 1164, highly reccommend) and she said they were due to be available in the Fall of 2020, but COVID has obviously delayed some things. She suggested to check back in 4-6 weeks and see if any progress has been made.
NOW: who can recommend a good FRONT rotor for us RWD F Sport fellas?

Are those the ones that you purchased for your RWD F Sport? I'm having a tough time differentiating sites if they are 1 piece or 2 piece. Even something as finding a front diameter size would be helpful.
Any links would also be helpful!

Anybody got experience on this one? Read one of the reviews that amazon also sent a wrong part to a customer.

s3v3n, That kit won't fit the RC F-sport models. It's not apparent at first, but if you look at the note in the product fitment section it says: "Notes: Z26 Street Warrior 1-Click Brake Kit; Front And Rear;, Models with 334mm Front Rotors." The 334mm rotors are for base model RC's not for the F-sport. What you're looking for is 356mm rotors (front F-sport rotors). Amazon won't tell you that.
