Default navigation GPS update

can anybody tell me if there is an update for the navigation system for the 2016 RC 300 f-sport?

whenever i put a location in, it’s very laggy and delayed. i’ve missed multiple exits because by the time it says to take the exit, i’m passed it.

there have also been occasions where i put a location in and it takes me to a place where that store, restaurant, etc. used to be but is no longer there.

i assume this will get fixed with some sort of software update.

The Map and POI data is all stored on a very small SD card, behind a little door under the radio. (In the old days, it was on a DVD, but DVD players had lots of moving parts, so this is a lot more stable.)
Starting in 2018, Lexus went to a "dynamic" update system which downloads the data to your car, and those models do not have the SD card. Clearly your POI data is outdated, as this information, as well as the map data, is on the card.
New cards are introduced annually, usually in Sept or Oct. I get a new data card every four or five years; your data is from 2015, so some roads and POIs will be out of date.
You can buy a new card from your Dealer, and all you have to do is remove the old card and insert the new card, just like you do for a sim card in your phone or an SD memory card in your camera.
I have no idea why you would have a delay in bringing the turns to your attention; alerts are given well in advance of the turn, and everything is electronic. I have had a Nav system in several Lexus cars for about 20 years, and they have always worked flawlessly. There is, however, a calibration that can be done if you think the GPS information is not synced to your actual position, which could be the case here. I've never had to do that, but I think it's in your manual. Surely the tech specialist at your dealership can do this quickly for you, if necessary.
