Hey all , Jay here.
Here in Dubai, U.A.E. The A/C servo motor and blower motor is a constant issue in all Lexus models and i believe it is due to the hot weather here (well this is the justification i'm giving to myself before i spend all the money). But till date of the 3 Lexus vehicles I've owned they never replaced it free of charge. I first faced this issue with my '07 Lexus IS300. Then to my current LX570 and in my RC350.
I changed the blower motor for the RC in 2018 and it cost me $540 (approx) for parts and labor. Now my servo motor for the RC is gone so i can't change the different air modes and also i get hot air blown into the cabin from outside on the passenger side. I'm due for my 110K (kms) service and will be changing the servos and i believe it will cost me about $870. (parts + labor)
**Mind you the prices are lower in my view compared to the Dealers here in UAE since i go to a authorized garage for Lexus vehicles.
** if i were to go to the dealers here I'm sure the price for servo part + labor will cost me $1800-$2000.
Hello Jay, I am from UAE. Could you please help me with the authorised Lexus garage where you fixed your cars servo motors please? Thanks
Any shop in UAE can fix it with AUTEL diagnostic tools, tell them that you need to reset all the servo motors calibrate and remove all the function like Auto climate and Vent controls let him fix it to front vent and do not play the temperature just fix to cold. that is the best and cheap solution it will cost you about 50-100 AED. Try Dynatrade.
Had the servo motor replaced under the program at a dealer in Florida , my coverage expires in Nov - on a '16 GS-350
Thought I was done... I called dealer and he mentioned there are 7 motors and two were replaced... I dont even really know how to check it and I never use heat in Florida
I just posted in other sub about noticing a delay in AC starting since the motors replaced but dealer said its normal when on auto, to try and put on mania;
Hello bro, I am from dubai and am facing the same issue in my lexus Is300 2018. Any luck with dynatrade ? Thanks a lot
I put it for repair, got the servo motors replaced with used ones from Sharjah Industrial Area for 600 Dhs + 300 Dhs Labor. Been using the car for a week now.. it’s freezing
I will share the exact issue and which servos were replaced:
- Hot air blowing from Passenger Side Vents (Middle and Far right vents)
- Hot air blowing from rear ac vents.
Servos Replaced:
# 87106-30550
# 87106-30510
Note: Both Driver and passenger seat cooling function is not working, it’s blowing hot air .. it was were fine previously. I’ll check and update you guys .. if anyone is facing the same problem let me know!

The ventilated seats are only going to blow air through the seats. they're not AC seats. If the air in the cabin of the car is hot, so will the air being pushed through your seat. This is well documented on the forum here.
