“Name of part” question
Hello All,
Anyone know the name of the part in the attached photograph? On a 2015 RC 350 F Sport. As well as where to go (thinking online) to get a vinyl cover for it? In speaking with the tech at the auto spa earlier today when stopping by for a quote on a clear bra, he mentioned the option of covering it with vinyl. It’s got some deep scratches and need to either replace or cover. Thx!

I can't tell for sure but myLpats.com says it might be the "energy absorber". You can vinyl wrap that yourself in 30 minutes. Material might cost you $20-30.

That looks SWEEEEET!!!! Been considering doing the same to mine, it’s the obsidian, just not sure how all that black would look. I like the way the chrome pops set in the black color, but “blacked out” has a bad*** ghost feel I like, as well. 😉

It's commonly referred to as the front bumper chin or bottom lip splitter. If you need the actual name, don't bother. Find the OEM part number and search for a replacement part using the number for better accuracy.
If you're worried about the scratches showing through the vinyl, you can go with a thicker carbon fiber vinyl where it might be able to cover it without showing through. The carbon fiber vinyl I have on mine is pretty thick but it's not covering an scratches.

If you do decide to have it wrapped, I would to suggest doing the center Lexus logo... I had mine tinted so it didn't Pop so much. Don't go too dark tho, because it will just look like a huge black Dot on your grill. Lol

I agree. If you are going to delete the chrome the front logo will stand out too much. A tinting film works nicely.
