Sup Everybody. I really like the design and increased size of the RTI touchpad in the 2019+models over the smaller one in my 2015. The consoles surrounding the two appear to be identical ( at least at first glance ). Anyone know if you could update my 2015 with the new center console and have the RTI be plug n play? Most likely a long shot but just putting my feelers out there in case one of you know more about this than I.

I've thought of this upgrade as well. The touchpad communicates to the system over CanBus, so my assumption is that it would function. The connector is likely different though. I have been keeping an eye out on ebay for the newer pad and center console, but nothing so far.

What exactly is CanBus?

In automobiles, it's the electronic network that the system communicates through. Systems sharing information.
CanBus means Controler Area Network.
