Default Want Drilled/Slotted Rotors and Pads for the track

Ok, so I have read & seen all the posts for Drilled and Slotted rotors with different pads from the oem ones.... I have seen that there seems to be a problem with squealing....so is it the rotor or the pad?
Personally, I would think it is the pad...Since the pad is usually always the cause? So is it the Ceramics that do this? Or the other off brand pads (Non oem) ones? I need one with some bite!
So I'm gonna bleed my brake lines and replace with a Dot 4 and I also want to upgrade the rotors and pads. I had used EBC yellows on my 350Z and had great results( I did AutoX events, Time Trials, and Track events )....but while driving around the city I don't want them to squeal.
I have heard several people change their rotors to a drilled or slotted and changed brake pads...especially the Akebono pads. However, I have read a lot of complaints of them being fine for 200 miles and then they start to squeal. So my question is ... Sorry for the long entry... Has anyone found a good upgraded Rotor and brake pad that does not squeal after broken in? I have looked into the Brembo site and the R1-Concepts site, but I know there are others.
I just want to hear of anybody that has upgraded to a Slotted/Drilled rotor and different pad that is non oem....like Hawk,EBC, or other?

Ceramic pads don't stop as well with cast iron rotors as regular/OEM pads. That is unless you go to a Brembo setup.
