Hi guys. I bought a 2018 RC350 from the auction without keys. It was a theft recovery vehicle. In order to program a new key the car should recognize that the driver door is open. However when I open the driver door there is no door ajar warning light in the dashboard, also the dome light doesn’t turn on. But when I open the passenger door everything is fine. I checked all the fuses and they all good. Please help.

Bad door switch? Next thing to check being the passenger side works ok.
Switch is in door jam, can be easily removed and checked. Looks to be a
torx-drive screw to remove.

Pull drivers side switch assy., check wiring there or pull entire panel and check there. Being this was a theft/recovered you might have some wiring stuff
going on in several places. I'd check the door panel wiring first. Then work your way from there. Theft vehicles sometimes have weird issues besides
what is obvious being most of the time "care" is not considered when jacking a car.
