Default Changing brakes

Hello I have a 2020 rc350 f sport recently my front brakes started screeching like crazy so I’ve decided to change my brake pads. Is this a job that can be done at home do I need any specialty tools, if so what pads do you guys recommend and if you could please link them so I can get the correct ones thank you

It's a DIY job IMO and there's a number of DIY threads on here if you search.

As for pads, it depends on what you're looking for. Most here like Akebonos as they provide solid performance with near zero dust. https://akebonobrakes.mypartfinder.com/

It's pretty easy, make sure you do everything correctly. Don't skimp on steps.

A few things you'll need
- Anti Squeal Shims? (You may need to use these over what comes with aftermarket pads because of squeal)
- Wrench or ratchet
- Brake lube
- New brake hardware
- Obviously jack/stands
- Something to retract the calipers (open the brake resevoiur when doing this) - C clamp or a caliper compression kit

That's about it It's a pretty easy job.

I did not do the replacement job myself (I had it done when I had my calipers powder coated), but I did have the Akebonos installed on my RC several years ago, and they are wonderful. Much less dust, and the stopping power is a bit improved also.
Highly recommended.
