Default RC'S with high mileage purchase decision

I have a short time to make a decision, a 2015 RC 350 Fsport 90,878 miles black with red interior asking $28,995 , or a white with red interior 2016 RC 300 Fsport with 87,897 miles asking $30,000
I know that's an old debate and understand how good the RC is, it'll be great to hear your inputs!

My 2015 RC350 AWD only has 65K and is in immaculate condition. I wouldn't take
30K for mine. If they have a carfax or service records, probably the 2015. Today's car prices are
through the sky, but it's up to you. I love my RC, and it's my daily driver.

George...are they both RWD? At this point, mileage and age isnt really an issue as they are close enough. Personally, unless you are the type to push your car to the upper limit, the 300 should be enough provided its the detuned v6 from the 350.

I am biased toward white cars so i would do the the white on red as it is a fantastic combo and is newer but either options are good. It is a crazy used car market so prices are not what they once were and may not cool off for a bit.

They are both AWD, I saw the white today and was unlocked, the interior is very clean, the leather is intact and all was in a very good shape for the millage, I will go tomorrow for the test drive, thank you!

I agree that for enthusiast, the 350 is the one to get however, it all depends on what your priorities are and the condition of the vehicles. All things being equal, I agree that the 350 would be the way to go, however, we don't know the state of the condition of the 350, and if the OP is not a person who needs ton of power but is more focused on how the car looks, a white car can be easier to maintain than a black car. The swirls and scratches on black vehicles are unforgiving but again, you are not wrong, the 350 will have more upper end power.

255 vs 306 HP - believe me this is noticeable difference even for a daily driver. The gas consumption is also not big of a difference, if not no difference at all. But yes, in the end of the day , it will be up to the OP since he is the one buying. I'm just trying to save him from a buyer's remorse later down the road.

Trust me on this - those good looks will not matter when the sluggishness of the 300 engine sets in after buying it. You won't feel it the first week.... but soon after that you'll realize how slow that engine is.

Yes, the black is really unforgiving when it comes to those swirls and scratches (got the RC350 caviar), but a white color car can also have scratches and swirls.

check out the service history between both cars by using their VIN#. https://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/service/history

i bought mine from carmax at $27,995 on the date of November of 2020. 2015 RC 350 F sport atomic silver/rioja red. 67,977 miles. I am the 2nd owner and current miles are at 82k. I almost opted in for the RC 200T that had 97k miles and was cheaper, but I wanted more power. and never owned a V6 before. opinion coming from a 33 year old guy.<<<<<< hopefully this helps.
