Question Bought a used RCF - question about PCV connections on intake.

Hello Everyone! I purchased this 2015 RCF with 71k KM on it back in March 2022, and I've put a lot of care into cleaning it up and maintaining it.
The previous owner put the following on the car:
1. aFe intake
2. RR Racing AOS
3. PPE Headers (there's a check engine for P0430 + P0420 that I'll settle somehow)
4. K&N Breather hose of some sort for the PCV (?) *really not sure of the function of this*

Now the issue: I live in a fairly dusty part of the world (Kuwait) and it reallllly worries me that the PCV hose connections (I think that's what those are) on the intake tube are totally unsealed.
Is there a reliable way to seal them off? Or should I simply grab a new intake tube without the PCV connections? I've only found the RR Racing carbon elbow, but I'd prefer a metal one.

Any thoughts?

Thank you!

With those ends open you are ingesting unmetered air and throwing off your A/F ratio. It looks like at some point a RR Racing intake was installed since they include that hose with small filter you see across the back of the engine.

Two ways to fix this issue. Re-route the hoses and connect back to the intake (remove that tiny filter). Or get some rubber caps and block off the nipples on the intake.

The codes you have listed are common with headers since the cats are removed. Typically you would install some antifoulers onto the down stream O2 sensors (the ones under the car). Some tunes can disable those codes, but you'd have to reach out to RR to see if middle east ECUs are supported.

Thank you! So it seems you're correct: someone had the RR Racing intake on this and then placed the aFe on some time later.

I think what I'll do is grab some silicone caps with rhe right diameter to plug the holes.

Much appreciated!

I would get rid of those silly hoses and plug the factory rubber pipes into those 2 ends, rerouting them is not too bad.

The fact that the previous owner left them open like for the engine to suck in dusty air that says it all.

I would suggest you get back the 2 PCV tubes from the dealer and ask them to place them on those intake vents going back into the manifold below the injector's computer. And then remove the bypass filter in the back. You can keep the oil catch-can but in my experience with RR racing ones, the silicone blue hoses leak with time. So I took them off since I'm not tracking the car.

sidenote: I think your coolant might be low? Just guessing from this angle.
