The downside of this being a heavy car is that I currently eat brake pads and only get a handful of events out of them. Tires only last a little bit longer.
I'm surprised about your pad wear. I'm running the same pads (as you) 3 years now.
Been through tires more. Perhaps it is the track design itself? Is there a lot of braking on your home track?
To add to the track discussion if anyone who wants to join a full community of tracked F cars that only speak track talk and are very engaging add this to your bookmarks!
Fantastic community no-frills and as always alot of questions and understanding
Lexus F Track Cars is the search on Facebook rock on! 🤘

I didn't really start shedding brakes and tires until recently, basically finally finding the limits of the car. It could certainly be me driving it wrong, and I'm always open to opinions and advice. Both Summit and VIR have a hard almost U turn at the end of long straights. Since I brake late and hard, I'm going 140+ down to around 40-50 for those turns. Those 100 mph deltas can't be helping.
Next I'll try to go up another heat range and see if that holds up better.

I am guessing the tires, rotors, and pads. Are you looking to going coilover set up and if so which were you looking into? I know RR offers different versions.

The number one thing that has shown improvements on the track is SEAT TIME. My car is only slightly modified and I've found better times every time i go out. If just starting out, this car only needs decent brake pads and fresh brake fluid.
The RR AOS was necessary to stop blowing white smoke after turn 1. I barely get anything in there on the street, but I have to empty it every session on track.
I just started running track wheels and 200tw tires this year and the wider front has really helped cornering stability. But I think I'm now over heating my brakes due to the 18s having less air flow around the rotors. I'll have 3 days at Watkins Glen to experiment with modified heat shields and new pads. Trying new things is part of the fun.
I'd like to look into coilovers and adjustable arms to get more camber up front. Both RR and Figs have been super helpful so I'll go with one of their offerings when I'm ready. Part of me really wants to get my hands on that TRD CCSP suspension, but Lexus Japan gatekeeps that stuff hard.
Tom's chassis bracing became noticeable when I hit the curbing at VIR. Tightened up flex enough transfer that energy right into my ribs.
@LoSt180 Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Very interesting note about 18” wheels affecting brake pad wear. Look forward to hearing about your testing and results!
@cvt Definitely Tsukuba Circuit. Spent many hours there on Forza hahaha. The US really needs something like the Burg. Just a Point A-B track, pay a toll and drive.
Im looking at some HPDEs at Big Willow and Arizona Motorsports park to attend next year. Anyone have experience with HookedOnDriving?
