Unhappy OEM front skirt rubber protector

One of the local side streets had a cross street rise taller than the clearance which I did not know would be an issue. Tore a foot of rubber off and broke the plastic connector so the rubber is hanging down a bit (carbon is still pristine). Does anyone know a part number for the connector or a picture so I can get one at the local auto parts store? I'll also need a wide wheel ramp since there is no way I fit under .there. Might just take to a body shop, but hate to ...

Never mind. That rubber piece is held on with the auto equivalent of hollow wall anchors. Plastic piece clips in and sheet metal screw widens to hold. All fixed until I can get a new rubber protector.

Did you check Lexus Parts Direct? They might have all of the parts.

I checked with the dealer. 190 bucks for a 4 dollar piece of unneeded rubber hanging below the skirt. I'll Drive it as is. I live in Benicia CA where it is hilly and the roads have lots of large rises ( roads were built in civil war era). Think speed bumps at every intersection. Not the best place to drive a low clearance car -- although there are lots of vettes and porches.. Might be best for me to remove it completely and gain a inch clearance...replace with stick on rubber protector from amazon for 10 bucks. I also checked at lexus direct parts ( thanks for the refer), cost is 139, so a significant savings from dealer, but still not something I need. Part is called an air dam...which means it might not be useless on the track, but not necessary for where I drive.

I was just wondering what that piece was. I saw it on the carbon package and TE but my premium doesn't have it.

Does the bumper have special holes for that? Can it be added without drilling holes?

Do you have a pic or part number?

The carbon skirt (part people call it a front spoiler) has the holes about every foot. https://www.lexusdirectparts.com/oem...dam-7685124060
If you don't have the carbon package I don't see why you would want it.

I don't even think my '15 (with Perf Pkg) even has that piece but someone in the FB group did buy and install that on his pre-facelift.

I thought I'd add that the air dam extends only from wheel to wheel, so where I thought I was missing a piece, I really wasn't. Have to add, wife hates the car and won't drive the Lincoln SUV, Depending on how much more *****in I can stand, it might be for sale sooner than I want. Happy wife, happy life as they say.

I didn't realize you were talking about the front air dam that goes on the front lip / spoiler. I thought you were asking about something on the side skirts.

I ordered that part from Bell Lexus and retrofitted to my pre-facelift car. The part number is in that post: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rc-...l#post11542607
