Default RcF Track Car

Hello
I have in the past owned two IsF as our family car. i loved them both.
since then i moved to a Mercedes Gls (no Lexus LX in the uk) for our family car and a R35 Gtr for weekends and track days.
we have a civic Ep3 for track day too
i live in the UK and at most track days its the BMW E90 m3 that is the car of choice.
aftermarket parts are easy to get and most specialists know how to set them up to become a fast reliable car.
However the Rcf is NA and now at the same price point as the E90 m3
unfortunately in the UK there is no aftermarket parts for the RcF
Is anyone using the Rcf in the USA for track use?
i would be looking to do Surface transform carbon discs on Alcon calipers, some form of control/toe arms all around ,coil-overs, Recaro pole position seats and a rear cage.
also is there any heat problems engine trans or diff?
Is there a particular garage that is specializing in setting up the RcF you all would recommend
Will be looking to buy a 2016 Carbon Rcf without the tvdiff As the platform for the track build.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks

E90 M3 is a very good track car especially for its time. I was in the market seriously for one and almost picked up a 2011 E90 M3 competition with manual transmission before I decided to go the RCF route. I started aspiring for one when they came out in 2007, but by time I was ready to buy one, I realized at that point, it was one generation older than the RCF. It was a direct rival to the ISF so RCF being 10 years newer, comes with a lot more power and with more modern technology, suspension and chassis engineering etc. was a competitor for the F80 M3/M4. Here is some telemetry data of RCF directly head to head with F80 M4 in the hands of a pro race car driver. You can see it is pulling about the same Gs in the turns as the M4 while being heavier. You also don't have to deal with the throttle actuator and rod bearing issues that plague them.

Yes, lots of people in North America track their RCFs. Some of them do it competitively as well. Lots of videos on time attacks and hotlaps etc.

That is a good idea. The car in stock form (I have a carbon and TVD RCF) is very capable of running fast lap times in stock form all day long. However, if you want to do seriously competitive time attacks and track days then having coil overs, lighter seats, control arms etc. will all help make you faster.

That is one of the great features of the RCF. It is the reliability and durability that is tough to match. It was developed with a serious intention of giving people car that can run laps on the track without overheating or going into limp mode so it has a lot of cooling systems. Transmission, brake, engine oil and differential coolers that allows RCF to do hotlaps all day without overheating or skipping a beat.

I have a 2016 carbon and TVD RCF. Great car. Have owned it for 7+ years. The only suspension mod I did was RR Racing lower control arm bushings. I also think the stock Pilot Super Sport were cr*p tires so I swapped out for much more aggressive tires to handle the weight a lot better while resisting sidewall deflection. For my use of mostly street spirited driving with occasional track days, I am very happy with the stock suspension. The chassis and suspension are dialed in really well for good body control at high speeds despite the inertia from the weight. Very stiff without being too harsh over bumpy roads at slow speeds. You only feel the bumps once you go over the bumps with some speed.
