My 84 month RC F battery failed after having been installed a little over a year ago. As it turns out the battery was manufactured in 2021, so its older than 14 -16 months.
The dealer tested the battery and found it has a dead cell. It still starts the RCF, but "struggles".
Are there any good third party alternatives to the Lexus battery that still fit correctly?
I posted yesterday on potential key fob battery drain. I naively assumed that battery was in good shape.

Just throwing it out there, I have AntiGravity Lithium Ion with internal battery management as well as jump start feature. it is a bit on the costly side, but I have had it for 3+ years and am very happy as my RCF gets driven rarely. I have two other Lexus cars plus my RCF only is driven in the spring and summer. I only have 20,000 KM on my nearly 8 year old RCF. All in all, it was about $625 USD when I purchased it, but it has been so worth it. Even when the car sits over a long period of time, it spins up so quickly and also is about 30 lbs lighter than the OEM Panasonic battery.

^^^^I only use AGM batteries. I'm also in Southern Arizona. The last AGM battery in my ISF was five years old when I sold it, it was a Bosh. The NAPA AGM in my previous truck was six years old when I changed it for an Optima Yellow Top AGM. Only changed the NAPA due to age, it was still operating fine. The Optima Yellow Top in my LC is now almost two years old and running strong.
