Hey everyone,

I’m considering a few RR Racing products and would love your feedback. Could you share your thoughts on the following?

- RR Racing Intake Heat Shield
- RR Racing Tune (any issues or recommendations?)
- RR Racing Ultimate Damper Pulley

If you’ve used any of these, especially the tune, please let me know how they performed and if you encountered any problems. Your input is greatly appreciated!

I have both #2 and #3 as you have already found my old threads. Highly recommend both. They make a sizable difference in how the car accelerates and feels. I did not go with tuned by Loi because while it's is a lot more aggressive and you can raise the rev limiter to something like 7600 rpm, but I wanted a conservative tune dive longevity is #1 for me. Heard some people had issues with tuned by Loi and they don't get responses on Facebook

thank you bro! Since you don’t have it, I assume you don’t think the heat shield really does much?

I just did not see it as something I would prioritize over other mods. Not saying it does not make a difference since it is supposed to keep the intake temperature down by shielding it from the engine compartment heat, but does not mean it won't make a difference. Cheers!

Heat shield is nonsense. On paper it makes sense but once you track intake temps you’ll see it’s only good for about 5 seconds.

I used an obd2 to graph temps and yes, IAT’s do rise when the flap opens, but they go right back down to pre flap open temps within seconds.
