Default 2017 Rcf w/ RR780 kit

Hey all, I’m looking at purchasing a 2017 Rcf with the RR780 kit. What should I be looking out for? I’m new to the Lexus world (long time bmw owner) and just looking for some insight. I also want to make sure the kit is the 780 and not the 625 kit as they are very similar, what are the obvious visible differences? As far as super charger maintenance what should I be looking for/ what will I need to keep it well maintained. The car is tuned on e30 but is also equipped with a meth kit. If I wanted to run just meth on 93 with no E will I need a retune? Any and all information is appreciated and helpful.

We don't tune for E30. That would be a 93 tune that some E was blended into. You should have no problem running that on 93. You can tell it's a 780 kit if it has two blowoff valves instead of the one found on a street kit. The 780 kit used the C38-92 blower in the beginning and used a C38-R on later kits. So it could have either blower. Maintenance will be belts and tensioners. Most supercharger companies say a year on a belt is acceptable. I have many customers that have gone 2-5 years on a belt.

Thank you for the info Justin. Where are the bov locations on the kit? The owner said the kit has been on the car 11k miles but doesn't seem extremely knowledgable about it leading me to believe he purchased the car with the kit already on it. With that being said the car has about 50k miles and I assume it is healthy although I have not seen it yet, I will next week. If purchased I'm interested in doing some logging to make sure everything checks out and seems in order. What software/hardware is common for logging in the Lexus world? With bmw we have things like MHD and JB4 and are able to pull logs from our phones and send them off, I'm assuming its not quite the same for this platform.

You can do a OBD2 wifi scanner from amazon and the OBD fusion app on your phone. You will need to get the upgraded Toyota PID package to get all of the Pids. You can data log the car with that.

The first blowoff valve sits on top ( red Box ). The second one would be down under the supercharger near the frame rail. (Arrow)
