driveability of V8 >>>>>>> V6 TT. ISF engine has been proven to be very reliable with minimal issues. BMW turbo i6, not so much. Now compound that with a higher boost version of that i6

When I was at the Vancouver Auto show 2 weeks ago, they had a heavily optioned M4 on display with a price of........ $103,000 CAD.

Given today's' exchange rate, thats roughly $95K USD.

Oh ok I guess your quite rich and money is not a problem for you. For the rest of us non rich guys, we like to spend our money smartly. 10k for a tune up break job is outrageous....atleast to non rich people.........

I think anyone that wants to buy a GT-R and is worried about the maintenance costs shouldn't be buying one. It's an expensive toy is all it is. If your worried about maintenance go buy a Toyota.

I agree, but comparing a gtr to an rc is like comparing a s-class to a 3 series.

If you pay $10k for a GTR brake job, you're getting hosed. That includes all 4 new rotors and pads. Not needed in most cases (new rotors) and if you want to change rotors (maybe tracking the car), there are much better rotors for much less (AP Racing J hooks - about $2300 for all 4 and then throw in some Endless MX72 brake pads for ~$750 for the full set. Changing these items is cake and will improve the car's braking performance. Lots of rumors relative to GTR maintenance.....

I was considering trading my 2012 GT-R for the new 2015 RC F. But I will try having both instead. Now I am looking to sell my 2013 FR-S and 2001 IS300 Turbo.

Well the GT-R is a super car in its own right.

While a used GT-R can be had for price of a new RC-F, they are two different vehicles. I like that there are options for buyers so test drive both and see what fits your needs or wants.

TeeLex has spoken! For those that don't know, his GT-R is nuts

I also considered getting rid of all three cars and have just the rc-f. Then when the nx turbo fsport comes out.. it could be the suv family ride. Lol

I find leather very low maintenance, wipe it down once or twice a year with damp cloth, done!
Agreed. :thumb up:

Not having the option of real leather, and making vinyl standard, on a Lexus, is nuts.

When is Lexus going to wake up?

WE NEED TO DEMAND A LA CARTE OPTIONS, like Porsche (and other German OEMs).
If I want vinyl seats and the TVD in the RC F, I should be able to get that.
