Wtf????
M2 doesn''t exist - u mean M235i? If so then ur just hating on it LOL.
M4 will sell no matter what.
It has great history and a very loyal following - pls go on the //M forums to see what having a die hard customer base is about. Ppl have place orders for these cars well in advance.
Lexus on the other hand is in the infant stages of having Performance Brand - it has to stand out and work extra hard to develop a following and build a pedigree.

I predict the base will be in the ~ $67k to $69k max close to ISF price. Any additional extra add on will put this car into $75k; It's outrage to predict a jack up price 80k range for this coupe. it's a really damn over weight 3.9k lbs coupe.

M2 front looks better than the M4, it reminds me of the best looking M3 the E46. Well the rear is a different story, it looks cheap. M4 just looks like its been squished and flattened like the previous 6 series. 4 has that weird thing around the lower grille that looks like it has the duckface lips from bad selfie pictures. The ducting and body work just looks bigger on the 2

I was at Ray Catena Lexus in NJ yesterday and asked what the price will be for the RC when it comes out and the guy said it will start over 100K. He said this car is basically a step below exotic and that it is replacing the SC model coupe which started around 80K. Has anyone else heard a price this high??? I will be very disappointed if this car MSRP clears 100K.

Besides, I don't believe the M4 will start at $64,000 since that is where the E92/E90 M3 started at. Since BMW claims there is a lot of carbon fiber use on the new M4, it will be much more expensive than that.

More expensive? The new M4 has cheap plastic gallore everywhere on the exterior. There is a black plastic insert in the side gilles that looks incredibly cheap. The RC-F feels and looks much more high quality than the German counterparts.

One poster at Bimmerpost arrived at this total because he added the carbon ceramic brakes which costs $7500. Does the RC-F have carbon cermanic brakes?
For anyone doubting the starting prices for the M3/M4, just check this thread:

everything looks solid on the BMW
the lexus center console and stick are my gripes but everything else makes up for it (touchpad, interior lighting on doors, gauge, nav screen, ac vent styles+clock)
