That's a great shot of the RC-F on the cover! It's nice to see this car and Lexus getting more front page mainstream coverage.

These are the exciting vehicles that get magazine coverage…I have a good feeling this car is going to blow away the media considering how well the IS/GS fared and this is on a completely different level!

Nice to see some recognition.

Im shocked about the Lack of activity on this forum with such an exciting car from lexus.

New M3/4 forums have over 10 + new threads per day with thousands of posts, while here maybe 1 or 2 posts each day if any??

We need more excitement lol

Meh! I want to see an actual test and video of it blasting through the race track. Better yet, cannot wait to see a comparo of RC-F with the M4.

I think there will be more excitement once specs, video and additional photos are released. BMW is better about dropping all of the details at once, vs. Lexus who is always secretive and makes everything piecemeal.

Is it just me or does it feel like we're in the middle of an automotive "Cold War" between BMW and Lexus with them unveiling their newest performance models (M3/M4 and RC-F) but only providing a limited amount of specs? Both companies are currently stating "More than XXX horsepower and more than XXX ft/lbs of torque" but they won't unveil their full hand as of yet.

Is it possible that the companies are currently gauging each other's recently unveiled product and possibly making last minute revisions to the original performance specs (HP, torque, curb weight, etc) to try to out-do the other competitor before full production? Either way, healthy competition is a win-win for the enthusiasts!

we know nothing about car yet.. plus, at least for me, CL is all about car chat, i dont know why do they move these threads to sub forums, it is not like we are owners discussing the cars. I rarely visit anything but car chat threads.

Ok thats all well and good - car chat is great for general discussion/debate.

Sub forums are geared for actual owners or potential owners of a particular model.
Im surprised more potential buyers are not here posting.

Also regarding specs - we pretty much know most of everytthing, whether its 450hp or 460hp makes no difference. Its not gonna have 600 hp.

Main Specs - 5.0 v8, 450hp, 8spd Auto, RWD, 3900lbs, Some CF parts-roof, wing avail
