Default diarimotor: 468 CV, RC-F to be first car after LFA to receive Yamaha exhaust tuning

Whiile looking for new RC-F articles, just found this and ran it through a translator.

Power: 462 HP (468 CV)
Torque: 390 ft-lbs (530 nm)
First car ever to receive Yamaha exhaust tuning after Lexus LFA
VMAX: 270 km/h (169 mph)

Once again, as it was already happening with the Lexus LFA, has been appealed to Yamaha for the acoustic treatment of the engine. The inspiration has been precisely also the search of the sound of the proper LFA, one of the sports ones who has to my judgment(opinion) a more typical and inspiring sound of the moment, only comparably to of true V10 of cult, like proper Porsche Carrera GT.

The Lexus RC F V8 sound hardly will manage to compare its sound with that of the LFA, but the Yamaha work has happened(passed) for the development of a few specific conduits in the vain one of the engine and the cockpit(dwelling), a special treatment for the leakage line(figure), with four exits(departures) (two to every side) and a conduit of admission that is opened between the 3.500 and 4.000 rpm to transform the sound of the engine and to improve its aspiration.

Will we see this Lexus RC F beating times in Nürburgring? We do not know it. What yes we can assure is that Lexus has taken very seriously the topic of the dynamics and that beyond the brute force that will develop its engine, with a maximum pair of 530 Nm, there have worked the chassis, the electronics and the aerodynamics to mark the difference with regard to its rivals.

Yamaha is an excellent choice as they've had a hand in the 2000GT, LFA, Celica GT-S, Taurus SHO, Volvo 4.4L V8 and a Bi-Turbo version of that found on the Noble M600.

BEAMS 3S-GE found in the Altezza RS200 that revved up to 8000 rpm was also developed by Yamaha (based on the standard 3S-GE).

and 2ZZ-GE of course, which I am sure you know.

Of course, Toyota is the biggest non-Yamaha shareholder in Yamaha too :-)

Agreed. It is amazing how terrible the M3/M4 sounds especially in the wake of a car like E92/E90, which has a screaming and snarling V8.

All in the family Toyota has a storied history with Yamaha, and one of the longest partnerships. That goes without saying Toyota now owns Yamaha's biggest stake.

Toyota and Yamaha had a two-tier relationaship. In some cases, Yamaha did work specifically on the headers and some tuning for Toyota such as, 2JZ-GE/GTE, 1G-GTE, 7M-GTE/GE, 3S-GE/GTE, 2UR-GSE, 4A-GE 20v etc.

On the other hand, there were a few engines that Yamaha had very heavy co-development role such as the 1LR (LFA), 2ZZ-GE, BEAMS 3S-GE, 3M/2M etc.

I thought Yamaha designed the heads on all the GTE motors of that era well(except the 2JZ). at least the way i understood it, correct me if im wrong

Yes, I have read that as well so it is definitely plausible.
