Default RC-FS: More Power Anyone

Yep, I was told that Lexus is working on a 600-HP version of the soon-to-be-released RC-F for those who need more horsepower for the daily commute.

Open up your check books: I was told $120k for the atomic racer. it is a bit more power than I need for my navigation on the blue planet.

Sounds interesting. Must be going forced induction for it.

I am thinking that they will transplant the GS-F engine into the RC-FS. The GS-F is going to need more horsepower to at least pull a 4-sec 0 to 60.

DAAAAAMMMMNNNN...!!!

We haven't even gotten the "Official" Specs for the base RC F !!

We're already talking about a more powerful one..

That's old news. Not to mention pure speculation.

So was the RC-F.

This is based on what I heard from a Lexus corp exec. True, it needs to move from the product roadmap to reality.

There are definitely more Fs to come.

Now that we have a 707 hp Dodge (coupe or sedan), I guess the horsepower wars are back on!

GS F will be delicious packing this kind of punch.

This is probably a rumor about the LF-LC that was mixed up with the RC-F.

The LF-LC will be a "successor" to the SC.

We'll see--it's more HP than I need under my hood.

They also mentioned an LS-F to go after the S8 segment of the market.

The over 100k market is exploding, this is a segment Lexus needs to aggressively attack. An even harder line of cars from Lexus that performs with the best of the best would do wonders. Alas I am not holding my breathe since we don't have a full F lineup yet.

Great for the track but seriously 600hp for city driving? Although I'm not THAT far from the Nevada desert Horsepower wars indeed. Fast times ahead.

Eh. All that power and it will still probably do the 0-60 in only 4.4 seconds.

WIth the new z06 starting at 78k, and a fully loaded one with pretty much every option for about 90k, I'm leaning towards the corvette. 650hp/650lbtq is ridiculous!

Two very different cars with very different driver ambitions...

Enjoy the Vet! The '69 is one of my favorites.

It will be faster than the ISF.

Expect to see it conservatively spec'd at around 4.3-4.4--and anticipate seeing test drivers running 3.9-4 flat. On the track, I expect to see the RCF make a lot of competing cars look silly--the torque vectoring should be like crazy glue when it comes to keeping the rubber on the track.

I would not underestimate Yaguchi-san.
