Gotta love the internets "@thesmokingtire
Pretty beasty once you take it all in. I've driven 5 miles and it's already way better than the old ISF"

Base of $60k and fully loaded at $70k? Lexus is going to blow it out of the water at that price.

Not gonna happen at 60K base. But there is nothing wrong with wishing. I am :-)

Matt Farrah who is driving the RC-F as we speak tweeted $60k base and $70k loaded.

Unfortunately everyone's definition of loaded varies.

I believe he said that, but the numbers are ridiculous. I paid about $70k loaded for my IS-F in 2012.
Its going to be more like $71-72K base and from $77-$87K for the carbon model with options (ML sound, TVR, Premium 2 wheels, land changing alert, winter package, etc.). Add applicable taxes.
It's a new class of car for Lexus, and pricing will be more than the IS F. You'll need to wait for the generation for that comparison.

All along, I've been told 68 base and 77 carbon. Seems to fall right in line.

Exactly.. (kind of)
A based stripped 2014 IS F started @ $63,600 + $925 = $64,525 * --- It's
not going to be less, that;s for sure.!!

Yup
. Comparable models from others brands carry a premium of about 4-5 K for the service of subtracting 2 doors. The IS-C has an even larger gap at 6-7K, albeit thanks to retractable hardtop. No surprise here.

Wouldn't be the first time I got in trouble but danger is my middle name

Just a yes or no question.
Is the final HP number in-line with what we have seen so far? Thanks.
