Going to RC F Launch Press Event at Monticello: What do you want to know?
#16
While all the obvious Q's will be asked/answered by every publication, I'd rather have some more thought provoking Q's answered.
Since the RC F is a lower production run vehicle (akin to say M or AMG), will Lexus allow more customization/personalization like those? While maybe not to the extent the LF-A could be, but hopefully a little more than what's offered in the lesser (RC) models. Why can't I select stitching colors, seat materials (full vs semi-aniline leather), etc.

I am 6’ 1”, 220 lbs and have sat in the RC-F, I put the seat as low as it would go and had a good 1.5” of head room, the car did not have a sunroof, also the seats were very comfortable, although I am not sure if you could alter the side bolsters like the GS.
The only thing that concerned me was the fact that I felt I had to duck slightly to see out of the front screen due to the sloping roof line. The car was in London and they really didn’t want people sitting in it so I didn’t have a lot of time to set the seat 100% correctly.
I was also surprised how easily I got out of the car, I was expecting to craw out on my hands and knees. Lol.
as for the leg room in the back, lets just say not a lot

Just please give us enthusiast a solid review on how the car performs, how the engine feels, does rev freely, how the suspension feels at the track, steering feedback etc. Give us the information what us enthusiasts would like to know.
Please dont give us the generic fluff that some writer/editor that has no idea about performance cars would write about...like the NX200t review....that was a horrible review from a car enthusiasts point of view.

honestly if youre not going to track the car, you can skip the TVD. But yea a TVD on a track helps a lot. If a LSD comes standard thats enough for most people. M3/4 and C7 Z51 vette come with their version of TVD. Its a more managed version of an LSD which is pure mechanical but a computer controls the TVD

The carbon should theoretically be more responsive. So...
I will be interested in seeing how the comparisons play out--and there will be comparisons.
