Default Who is buying the RCF and why?

I'll start this thread.

I am a very a satisfied 2012 ISF owner. I am trading the car in November for an ultrasonic blue mica carbon model with TVD. I am a believer in V8 powered high-performance cars. I wanted a distinctive next-generation Lexus with near exotic design that has the power and handling to access when I want it, under the right conditions, to experience some thrills and simply have fun. I will most likely not track this car, but it will not stop me from eating up the asphalt when conditions permit.

It's a purchase based less on "image" and more on technology appreciation. Overall performance and reliability top my list of must haves. It's my fifth Lexus.

Your turn...

Aways love coupes. Had two SC400 (1992 and 1995) in the past before my GS430 and then my current GS350 F-Sport. Lexus SC430 was a disappointment to me as I hated the extra weight of the convertible.

Looking forward on my RCF purchase. Hopefully my local Lexus dealer would get their act together and start processing orders for RCF.

I am buying it not rightaway because I really want a sedan and rumor has it, there is an RC-F sedan or IS-F in the works. If Lexus does not announce a sedan variant in the next 1 year, I will end up getting the RC-F coupe.

I would buy it for:

- The 5.0 Liter V8 engine and its glorious scream
- Great handling and driving dynamics
- Luxury and technology
- Bullet proof Lexus reliability considering I like to keep my cars for very long time

Getting one because:

- It's something new & different
- Replaces my much slower daily driver (fr-s)
- More practical to drive than my other cars yet still more than enough excitement to keep it from being boring

Its the perfect all around sports car IMHO. The right balance of performance, luxury, and reliability. Although you should see my other car...
