There is a huge discount running on the 2014 GT-R right now. For a difference of 5-6K in price it is hard for me not to consider the GT-R.
I've driven them both, and either would make serviceable DDs—though the AWD would help in the winter. The acceleration of the GT-R is simply mind bending. I've never experienced anything like it. That said, the cabin in the RC F is an order of magnitude nicer, and the engine note is fantastic.

Maintenance on the GT-R could also get scary expensive real quick. They're really different cars, so you really need to drive them both.

Not a bad choice to make though! Ha ha!

I am debating on keeping my GTR. I may end up trading it straight for the RCF I preordered. I was planning to keep both but that's more than enough performance in one garage. The RCF seems more practical than a GTR hands down. I rarely visit race tracks these days.

RCF and GTR seems redundant. Youll be able to DD the RCF a lot better and more economically

I wonder if owning the Lexus will be cheaper than my current Cayman. It's time to let her go!!

not sure what maintenance you have to do on a Cayman but theres plenty of ISF owners that just do oil changes, brakes, and the car keeps running. Not really much to maintain on the car.
