Default My RC-F CQuatrz'd

Hi All,

Just wanted to share with everyone some great work that Hamza did with my RC-F! Very happy with the results - water and dirt just bead and run off the paint / wind shield.

What was done?
- Full decontamination
- Polish
- CQuartz UK on:
  • Paint
  • Trim
  • Rims
- CQuartz Forte on:
  • Glass and non-porous surfaces

Here is the link to his website (with progress pics for my car ):

Here are a "few" pics about 14 hours after the application, enjoy! :

WOW! First of all, your car looks amazing.

I clicked on the link, definitely very cool to see the before and after. Can't believe how much brake dust it gives off!

A few questions:
How long did it take?
How much does it cost to get this done?
Can you see or feel any difference because of the CQuartz layer being added?
Will it have to be re-applied at some point?

I know, the break dust is insane - glad the rims are coated too

How long did it take?
- 24 hours + 10 hours or so for curing (although 24 hours is recommended for curing - basically leaving it parked with no water on the paint)
How much does it cost to get this done?
- I will PM you
Can you see or feel any difference because of the CQuartz layer being added?
- i see the raindrops on the hood beading and floating away
Will it have to be re-applied at some point?
- Hamza says in about siz or so months he can do a touch up for me, but its meant to least 2 years.

Default Great Job!

Good Job on choosing CQuartz.. They have one of the best coatings on the market..
Just like GyeonQuartz and Modesta Coatings..

Nice pictures. What is that piece at the rear wheel well? I see some models have it and others don't.

Wow, your car looks incredible! I can't decide if white or blue is my favorite for this car, but I am leaning towards white.

I have a question I am hoping someone can answer. In these pictures the hour glass shaped trim around the front grill looks more chrome or aluminum like the window trim, but in other pictures it looks darker or black chrome. Are there actually two different colors this trim comes in, or is it only one color that appears different in pictures? If so, what color is it actually, or what package would one select to get the darker grill trim?

Thanks in advance, and sorry for the silly question. Hope you are enjoying your new beast!

I asked the same question because I also like the look of the darker "gunsmoke" trim. I was told by my dealer that they all come with this darker trim, regardless of paint color. Can anyone confirm?

It's an unfortunate plastic tab that had to be placed because 3 states require that the body work extend a certain distance past the wheel. Nothing aerodynamic about it. At first glance, looks like it will be pretty easy to remove. I'm sure someone will be brave and post when they try to pull it off.
