New Shoes For The RC F

New Shoes For The RC F
Living in NJ, we obviously get a true 4 seasons throughout the year.
Having owned many sports cars and High Performance cars that come with "Summer" Tires, I was concerned over the past few weeks about driving the RC F when the temperature dipped below 40 degrees, and in some cases below 30 degrees.
I have had quite a few scary moments over the past few years driving on summer tires in the winter, whether there was snow/precipitation or just cold temps.
I have always had a "beater" car (09 Outback) but just sold it and bought my youngest her 1st car instead.
I have put dedicated snow tires on a C6 Vette and a 911 in the past, but I hate swapping tires and rims.
Today I purchased Pilot Sport A/S 3 and I'm having them mounted on Monday to my stock rims.I will never track my car or get anywhere close to the limits, so I will keep these on year round. I don't drive in deep snow anyway, and these can handle cold temps, precipitation, and light snow up to 3-4 inches.
My only issue is what shall I do with the stock tires (Mich PSS) that only have 500 miles on them?
If anyone is interested in the tires please let me know. I will sell them cheaply.

I'm actually surprised that Lexus didn't offer an all-season option.
In fact, a lot of guys over on the C7 Vette forums have switched to the pilot sport a/s 3 as well.
There were a few other options from Goodyear, Bridgestone, Continental, Hankook, General, Yokohama, and a 1 or 2 others. The Michelins were rated the best.
Any takers on the stock tires with around 500 miles (easy break-in driving) on them?

whats cheap to you? I may be interested if they were cheap enough for me to hang onto them for a few years.
Refresh me on the tire size so I don't have to go out to my garage and look. Anyone think its bad to let tires sit in my garage for a few years till I wear mine out.

A/S 3 are great tires. I have Michelin Pilot Super Sport and before that, I had A/S 3 on for 4 weeks and they were great tires on my car.
However, I would not even think of using those in snow (NJ and NY get quite a lot of snow). They would be slipping and sliding over ice. I use Michelin Plot Alpin PA3 winter/performance tires. Either Pilot Alpin PA3, Michelin X-Ice or Blizzaks would be my choice for a high horsepower RWD car in winter snow, slush and ice.
